COVID-19

During this challenging time of COVID-19, VTS wants to assure that our clients and management team are safe because, “Your Mental Health Matters.” We are taking referrals to serve the community daily.

We are educating staff about safety procedures that are being taught to our clients. We are using the protective measures by the CDC with the appropriate screenings. Ensuring that all staff and clients are using the proper distancing strategies while in a face-to-face contact. We are utilizing tele-health as an option for service. We are making provision for support and direction to clients with questions and concerns.

What To Expect At Your Visit

VTS believes the goal of therapy is to increase both spiritual and psychological wellness.  According to the American Psychological Association, “Therapists help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more productive lives.  Here at Virginia Therapy Services, we believe that many factors should be considered when it comes to helping individuals in counseling. For example, if one’s faith plays an important part in their identity, we believe your faith should be incorporated into your mental health treatment. “Faith tells us that no matter what lies ahead of us, God is already there.”  Christianity brings stability, happiness, and strength to our lives. At VTS, we understand that religion and spirituality significantly influence their internal and external lives and are an important part of healing for many who seek professional counseling. By bringing together a network of Christians professional counselors, we have seen proven success. Through the use of various therapeutic techniques, prayer, psychotherapy methods, and collaborative treatment measures, patients were able to successfully develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles.” VTS sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide individuals with practical tools to help them see the glass half full instead of half empty.
